Instructions

1. Open the lid: Press the logo button and swivel the lid open. At a 90° angle, lift the lid straight up to remove it from the base.

2. Remove the parts: Take out all parts and packaging from inside the base.

3. Insert the liner: Place the Modkat TYPE-A Liner inside the base. Persuade the top rim of the liner around the upper interior portion of the litter box, ensuring it sits evenly all the way around. Then push the bottom of the liner firmly into position so it's taut and conforms to the interior shape of the litter box. Fill with 3–4 inches (50–60 mm) of litter. * For a smooth transition, transfer a scoop of used litter from your cat’s previous box.

4. Reinstall the lid: Holding the lid by the logo button, insert the lid's hinge pegs into the hinge openings of the base. Once fully seated, swivel the lid closed until the button clicks securely into place

5. Hang the scoop: Seat the peg at the back end of the handle into one of the hinge openings on either side of the litter box base. * REMEMBER: Remove the scoop before opening the lid.

6. Position your Modkat: Place Modkat in a quiet, low-traffic area, with the logo button facing forward.

7. Wait, don’t toss that empty parts-pack carton! Punch out the perforated holes on the sides and top to turn it into a fun interactive cat toy. Drop in the included ping pong ball and your cat can bat it around inside the carton through the holes for endless play.

• To help your cat adjust, add a scoop of litter from their old box into the Modkat
