Kittens can be trained to use a litter box at around eight weeks.

Here's how to introduce a kitten to use a litter box:

• When applicable, remove or open the lid.

• Place your cat inside and gently motion their paws through the litter to familiarize them with the smell and feel.

• It should take approximately a week for them to use it on their own. 

• At that point re-introduce the lid.
