Why am I finding cat urine on the wall outside of the litter box?

Your cat could be simply missing his mark or worse, marking his territory. Typically, you see this occur in unneutered male cats who tend to spray “puffs” of urine to mark territory, especially if there are other male cats in the house or wandering outside your home’s perimeter.
